Some Cool Things You May Want To Check Out While School Is Closed

There are some pretty cool things happening on the internet that you might want to check out for additional learning and experiences. I will be sharing some of the ones that I think are pretty awesome below. Check back because I will update the list as I find more amazing adventures!

You can see an animal in your house if you Google search an animal name (on iPhone or android) and then press ‘View in 3D’. It opens your camera and soon will show you the animal moving in your room. You can walk around it and take a picture of it with people. Some of the animals that work are: Lion, Tiger, Cheetah, Shark, Hedgehog, Duck, Emperor Penguin, Wolf, Angler Fish, Goat, Rottweiler, Snakes, Eagle, Brown Bear, Alligator, Horse, Shetland Pony, Macaw, Pug, Turtle, Cat, Octopus, Dog

Lunch Doodles with Mo Willems ~ Kids can spend time watching Mo Willems (Author of the Pigeon Books that we love) and learning to create with him in his studio!  Very cool!

Winnipeg Assiniboine Park Zoo hosts a “Creature Feature” live every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You can ask questions ahead of time on their Facebook page, watch live or watch the video later on… so neat to get a behind the scenes look at the animals and learn about them!  Go to their Facebook page to find all the info
