Kindergarten Registration and Grade 1 Beginners For September 2024.
Eligibility requirement for:
Kindergarten: Children must be five (5) years of age on or before December 31, 2024.
Grade 1: Children must be six (6) years of age on or before December 31, 2024.
Dates for registration: Monday, January 29 to Friday, February 2, 2024
Registration is on-line at www.sunrisesd.ca or you can come to the school to get the package in paper form.
Proof of age must be presented at time of registration. A birth certificate would be preferred. However, if a birth certificate is unavailable, then a baptismal certificate will be accepted. Entry into the French Immersion program is open to all children of Kindergarten and Grade 1 age who possess little or no knowledge of the French language, but who wish to become bilingual by learning French as a second language.

On December 19th we will have the Holly Jolly Christmas Extravaganza Concert, in the gym. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 6:30 p.m.

PVS Middle Years HALLOWEEN Dance!

When: October 27th from 5-7 p.m.
Where: PVS MPR
Who: Open to grade 6-8 PVS students
Cost: $2 entry

THERE WILL BE A COSTUME CONTEST, WITH PRIZES!

The first jam session will be on October 27th from 5:30 - 8 p.m. in the ART ROOM (due to the middle years dance)

The fireworks have changed locations this year and will take place across the highway from school grounds. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM PARKING ON OUR FIELDS & TRACK. Doing so, will majorly impact our property, especially if it rains. Instead, you are welcome to use our parking lots.
We hope to see a bunch of people on blankets & chairs enjoying the show in our field and track NOT vehicles. Additionally, please be respectful and pick up your garbage!
